Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The Role Play a key role in promoting a safe, prepared, and responsive work environment. This role blends hands-on safety leadership with emergency response coordination, and is the ideal challenge for someone who thrives in a dynamic mining setting. You will: Support the development and implementation of the Mine Safety Management System and hazard standards Monitor and deliver site health and safety activities and compliance Lead or assist with incident investigations, including ICAM methodology Administer site training programs and induction processes Coordinate emergency preparedness, including ERP scenarios and drills Manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and First Aid Response Maintain operational readiness of first aid facilities and site ambulance Provide first aid support in line with qualifications and poison permit Assist with injury management and workers compensation processes About You You’re a safety-focused professional with strong judgement, clear communication, and a calm approach to emergency response. You lead by example, work well across teams, and take pride in maintaining high standards in safety, training, and preparedness. You bring: Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety Certificate IV in Health Care or equivalent pre-hospital care qualification Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue including BG4 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Accreditation to collect specimens for drug and alcohol testing Experience in a similar role within underground mining (preferred) ICAM investigation qualification and auditing experience (advantageous) Familiarity with INX systems — InControl, InFlight, and Intuition (preferred) Strong computer literacy and written communication skills Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with personnel at all levels — from frontline teams to senior leaders A current WA C Class Manual Driver’s Licence and the ability to obtain a valid National Police Clearance This exciting opportunity is offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, placing you at the heart of a growing gold producer during a strong phase of expansion.
