Permanent opportunity Open for Melbourne , Syndey and Brisbane Location Opportunity snapshot We are looking for a Content Compliance Specialist who plays a critical role in ensuring enterprise-wide content is consistent, compliant and aligned with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. Reporting to the Content Governance Manager, this role supports the development and enforcement of content governance initiatives across business units, collaborating with stakeholders across the content community, to develop a consistent and scalable approach to governance. Responsibilities Ensure content is legally compliant within a regulated industry, including laws relevant to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Stay informed of industry and regulatory changes that may impact content and proactively identify opportunities to reduce compliance risk. Collaborate with stakeholders to support the compliant creation, review, and distribution of content. Develop ongoing analysis, monitoring and reporting on content compliance, establishing KPIs and sharing with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Lead high-cadence content compliance audits across all relevant business units and customer-facing channels, combining automated tools and manual techniques to ensure ongoing oversight, with regular reporting and actionable insights. Support the development and implementation of governance processes, frameworks, and policies. Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to content governance across all relevant business units and channels. Collaborate with key stakeholders to embed and enhance consistency in content governance practices. Develop auditing and reporting capabilities on the content maturity of the organisation. Champion a compliance culture by educating and coaching stakeholders in best practice governance standards. Risk management – Identify and assess potential risks associated with non-compliant content and develop strategies to support the business in mitigating those risks. Facilitate content risk assessments and support the uplift governance processes and policies. Support incident management and content delivery as needed, ensuring appropriate controls are in place. Ensure risks are reported through appropriate channels and tracked through to resolution. Requirements Experience with content and risk management in a regulated industry. 3-5 years’ experience working with policy development and compliance within large organisations. Strong knowledge of content development from creation through to publication across multiple channels. Demonstrated understanding of and responding to customer and user needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex information for a broad audience of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to influence behaviour and drive compliance. Experience leading content audits or risk reviews across operational teams highly desirable.
