The property team leads a strategic approach to emergency management, property acquisition, facilities management and maintenance to drive sustainable commercial outcomes that contribute to long term asset planning while ensuring safety and compliance. The key duties of the position include Working with the department's property service provider to ensure all sites have the required emergency planning, management, and training services in place. Assisting in managing the contract with the department's property service provider for emergency management. Ensuring the department maintains robust emergency management arrangements consistent with AS3745 - Planning for Emergencies in Facilities. Contributing to the identification, development, and implementation of opportunities to improve emergency management practices and processes across the department. Managing key stakeholder relationships, internal and external, to ensure the delivery of enabling services that meet business needs. Providing advice to emergency management committees. Coordinating and supporting a national warden network. Drafting briefs, policy documents and reports to a high standard.
