About the Role: The Manufacturing Operator will support the manufacturing team by performing various manufacturing activities, specifically general metal fabrication and assembly. The position is full-time with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Key responsibilities include: Perform general metal fabrication tasks such as drilling, grinding and cutting. Assembly of metal components into kits Provide support to roll forming, press and curving operations as required Material handling by counterbalance forklift as required with - LF forklift licence Potential to undertake MIG welding/scope to learn. Requirements 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical skills Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance principles Forklift License is advantageous! A great attitude towards safety and quality Ability to work well in a team environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks As part of the recruitment process a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test and criminal history check will be required.
