Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant Contract Type: 12-Month Daily Rate Contract Location: Melbourne (Onsite/Hybrid as required) Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our client on a 12-month daily rate contract based in Melbourne. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimising the SAP technical environment, ensuring high system availability, stability, and performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in the manufacturing sector and/or federal government environments. Key Responsibilities Provide SAP Basis administration across multiple SAP landscapes. Manage system performance, tuning, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting. Support SAP migrations, integrations, and refreshes. Implement and maintain system security, authorisations, and compliance requirements. Monitor, analyse, and resolve technical issues to ensure system uptime and reliability. Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless SAP operations. Produce and maintain technical documentation and best practices. Skills & Experience 5 years’ experience as an SAP Basis Consultant. Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA, Solution Manager, and related technologies. Hands-on experience with system upgrades, migrations, and cloud/hybrid environments. Exposure to SAP environments in manufacturing and/or federal government organisations highly regarded. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Requirements Availability to start immediately. Based in Melbourne. Must be an Australian Citizen .
