ABOUT THE ROLE Eilbeck Cranes Truganina, Victoria is seeking an Industrial Electrical Installer to join our team. In this role, you will have regional travels as you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment for our overhead crane installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and industrial machinery. Responsibilities · Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in overhead cranes. · Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, including identifying and repairing shorts, faulty wiring, and other issues. · Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure proper function and safety. · Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. · Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC). · Install and connect power supply wiring, conduit, and other electrical components. · Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. · Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects efficiently. · Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices. · Provide accurate and timely documentation of work performed, including work orders and inspection reports. · Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear and concise updates on project status.
