Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting an experienced, capable, hands-on Venue Manager to lead the team at the stunning Great Ocean Road Chocolatery & Ice Creamery, located 10 minutes from Torquay. About you This is a very hands on role which requires leadership from the front of house. We are looking for a candidate who has: Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate, mentor and develop teams. Experience in front line management of food manufacturing, retail, service, or hospitality industries. A love of food and hospitality, and a passion for delivering great customer service. Experience in fostering effective communication between back of house including kitchen, production and the front of house functions. A focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, and experience in the development of processes to support consistent high quality service delivery. Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment and to get the best out of a committed and hard-working team. Your Role Ensure all visitors to the Chocolaterie experience exceptional customer service. Oversee the day to day running of the operations of the Venue and take an active hands-on role in mentoring and leading managers to successfully fulfil their roles. Maximize retail and café sales, return business, and positive brand reputation.
