We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Nursery Hand / Salesperson to join our team at Botanic Nursery in Wonga Park. At Botanic Nursery, we are wholesale nursery launching a new retail area looking to become a respected part of the local community, known for our high-quality plants and exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our new nursery, working directly with landscapers and the local community. The Role As our Nursery Hand, you'll be the face of our business, helping customers find the perfect plants for their projects. Your main responsibilities will include: Sales & Customer Service: Proactively assisting customers with plant selection, providing expert advice, and driving sales growth. Nursery Maintenance: Keeping our outdoor nursery looking its best by watering, organizing, and maintaining the plant displays. Building Relationships: Engaging with local landscapers and the community to build strong, long-lasting relationships. Inventory & Operations: Processing sales transactions, managing inventory, and ensuring the nursery is clean and well-organized. Marketing: Creating engaging content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook) to showcase our plants and nursery. About You The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for horticulture. We're looking for someone who: Has a horticulture qualification and/or relevant experience in a nursery or garden centre. Is an excellent communicator with a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused approach. Is highly organized, reliable, and takes pride in their work. Enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Is available to work on weekends and public holidays. This is a casual position with an immediate start.
