About the Role You’ll work within our Criminal Legal Practice team, representing clients in Magistrates and Youth Courts, including bail applications, guilty pleas, and trials. You’ll provide high-quality, culturally appropriate legal advice and advocacy, and collaborate with field officers, support staff, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in criminal matters across SA courts. Deliver culturally responsive legal services. Mentor junior lawyers Liaise with external agencies, legal service providers, and government authorities. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Contribute to ALRM’s mission and law reform efforts. Requirements Admission as a Solicitor & Barrister in South Australia. SA Practising Certificate with minimum 4-5 years post-admission experience. Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and its impact on Aboriginal people. Commitment to culturally appropriate service delivery. Why Join ALRM?
