People Integrity Innovation Customer About this role The role of the Warehouse Manager is responsible for all aspects of running our medium sized warehouse in Newcastle. This includes ordering, receiving, and despatching stock, maintaining appropriate stock levels, warranties, stock control and maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring occupation health and safety compliance in the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will have responsibility for a small team and will manage the day-to-day activities of that team as well as regular performance and development reviews. The role also requires daily engagement with staff across the Viatek team including technicians, other warehouses, the consumables team and our accounts team as well as problem solving and escalation with suppliers. About Viatek Viatek is Australia's leading independent supplier of Fuji Film and Lexmark office solutions, and commercial production equipment. We operate 21 locations across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia. What we are looking for We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic, self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, accountability and ownership of the role and is a great cultural fit for Viatek. Someone who looking to continually improve, become more efficient and keen to learn will be well suited to this role. Experience in warehousing, inventory and customer service is essential along with strong communication skills, intermediate Excel skills, ability to learn new systems, organisational and time management skills. The ability to work within a team environment, leadership experience a valid driver’s licence and Forklift licence are essential. Fluent English written and verbal skills are also required.
