Title: SAP Finance Operations Lead / Manager Location: Sydney (Hybrid role, remote work NOT accepted) Type: Full time permanent, fixed term contract (both modes available) We are looking for an SAP Operations Lead / Manager to support and manage the SAP Finance platform . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across SAP FICO modules , working knowledge of CATS and Reinsurance , and at least 4 years of experience in a lead or managerial role . Familiarity with FSCD and RE-FX is a strong advantage. This role demands both strategic oversight and active involvement in day-to-day operations. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a lead or managerial capacity within SAP operations. 10 years of hands-on support across all SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.). Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP integration points. Working knowledge of CATS and Reinsurance processes in SAP. Experience in managing SAP operations in a complex, regulated environment. Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Good to have: Exposure to FSCD (Financial Services - Collections and Disbursements). Knowledge of RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management). Experience with S/4HANA environments. SAP certifications in relevant modules. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day SAP operations for finance, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution. Provide hands-on support across all SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects in collaboration with business and technical teams. Support and enhance CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet) processes and integrations. Manage reinsurance-related processes and ensure accurate financial postings. Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, and Development teams for system changes and upgrades. Monitor system performance and drive improvements in operational efficiency. Support month-end and year-end financial close activities. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
