Governance Analyst – NSW Government Sydney CBD | Hybrid $700–$800 per day Super * Contract: 25 Aug – 24 Nov 2025 (possible extension) We’re looking for a Governance Analyst to join a NSW Government department , working alongside our Senior Project Manager to deliver a high-impact, non-IT project that supports our initiatives and governance priorities. About the Role: You will bring structure, clarity, and governance expertise to support our high-priority project. Your work will involve engaging with stakeholders across NSW and Commonwealth government , streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance within governance frameworks. Key responsibilities include: Engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, including sector partners and community organisations. Supporting and contributing to cross-sector reporting for state and national commitments. Analysing and simplifying complex processes for various audiences. Applying governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability. Gathering and synthesising information from multiple sources to inform decision-making. Supporting implementation and evaluation of quality improvement processes. Preparing and presenting high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations. About You: 2 years’ government experience (state and/or Commonwealth). Proven ability to work within governance frameworks. Strong analytical skills — able to synthesise and clearly communicate complex information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Proven ability to navigate complex and sensitive stakeholder relationships. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
