The Role As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll work within a telephone-based clinical team providing intake, assessment, and triage services. You'll deliver immediate, trauma-informed mental health support and make appropriate referrals to specialist and crisis care services. This position operates in a 24/7 rostered environment , with flexibility to work a mix of office and home-based shifts. You'll be supported with professional development opportunities, funded clinical supervision, and a collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality intake, risk assessment, crisis intervention and brief counselling. Deliver evidence-based individual, couple, and family interventions. Coordinate care with families, other providers, and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with policy and standards. Contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement. About You You're a qualified and registered mental health professional with experience in intake, triage, and brief interventions in a fast-paced environment. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to trauma-informed care. Essential Requirements: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, OR Counsellor with PACFA/ACA (Level 3/4) clinical counselling registration. Capacity to obtain Working with Children/Vulnerable People checks. Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Security Clearance. Demonstrated experience in mental health settings, ideally including telephone-based service delivery. Experience working with DVA clients or a personal connection to ADF personnel Located near Melbourne- not a remote opportunity Why Apply?
