The Role We are seeking a motivated Field Team Leader to join a vegetable seed production operation in Longford, Tasmania. This is a physical, outdoor role that requires hands-on work across multiple aspects of crop and field management. You'll be part of a hardworking and reliable team, contributing directly to the production of high-quality vegetable seed while leading and supporting others in the field. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for both carrying out and supervising day-to-day field activities to ensure optimal crop health and productivity, including: Preparing fields through cultivation, bed forming, fertilising and irrigation setup/management Applying crop treatments via knapsack spraying Overseeing and assisting team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely Maintaining consistent attention to crop quality and field conditions Benefits $32.04 per hour plus penalties 3-6 months with potential for long-term employment Approx. 35 hours per week Opportunity to step into a leadership role within a key agricultural industry Be part of a safe, inclusive and hardworking team culture Your Skills & Experience You'll bring a proactive attitude, practical field skills and the ability to guide a team in all conditions.
