Location: Winellie, NT 0820 Employer: Alpha Joinery Pty Ltd Employment Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum About our Client Alpha Joinery Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join their team in Winellie, Northern Territory. They specialise in high-quality joinery and cabinetry solutions and are looking for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join timber and other materials Install finished products such as cupboards, wardrobes, and furniture Operate a range of woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools Maintain high standards of workmanship and workplace safety Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience Qualification: AQF Certificate III in Cabinet Making (including at least two years of on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV (or equivalent) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and sample parts to determine job specifications Skilled in selecting and working with a variety of materials including timber, veneers, particle board, and synthetic wood Proficient in marking out, cutting, and shaping wood to precise measurements Experience working from drawings and specifications to construct furniture and cabinetry Capability to produce fittings for specialised applications such as boats, caravans, or other projects requiring fine detail Competence in assembling furniture sections and completed products Knowledge of installing hardware such as hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves Ability to build frames for items such as chairs and couches Experience in repairing or refurbishing furniture and antiques (desirable)
