Global have an exciting opportunity for multiple Machine Operators to join our team. These roles are based on our Santos - Cooper Basin Project , with multiple rosters available: 2/2 (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) 3/2 (3 weeks on, 2 weeks off) Working closely with our long-standing client, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of pipeline and lease construction projects across the Cooper Basin. We are looking for operators across both mechanical and flowline works. Job Description About the Role Mechanical Operator Contributing to the mechanical construction of lease builds and beam pumps Assisting the ground crew with mechanical works Operating a Backhoe, Skid Steer and Franna Conducting general civil earthworks Flowline Operator Operating Excavators, Graders and Backhoes Conducting trenching and backfill (>400m/day) Conducting bellhole excavations Lifting & lowering pipe with an excavator Conducting grading operations and road maintenance (>1km/day) Assisting the ground crew with mechanical & civil works About You Mechanical Operator Open Manual Driver’s Licence (HR desirable) Construction White Card Backhoe machine ticket Skid Steer machine ticket (desirable) HRWL CN (C6 desirable) Forklift ticket (desirable) High regard for safety Ability to communicate at all levels and work as part of a small crew Flowline Operator Prior operating experience in a FIFO capacity (Oil & Gas desirable) Current Open Manual Driver’s Licence (HR desirable) Excavator ticket Vaclift and trenching experience Grader ticket (desirable) with grading experience (>1km/day) Backhoe ticket (desirable) Forklift ticket (desirable) High regard for safety Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset Desired Skills and Experience Global Benefits Being part of the Global team gives you access to a range of benefits.
