My Client is looking for a Production Manager - Packing, this role is responsible for overseeing the packaging operations within the production facilities to ensure products and packaged efficiently, safely and in accordance with quality and regulatory standards. - FMCG Experience is Essential - Reports into GM of Production - Full time is preferrable - possibility to entertain contract roles - Has 3 direct reports Role Accountabilities: - Lead and manage all aspects of the packaging function, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective packaging of products. - Develop and maintain packaging schedules aligned with production plans and customer requirements. - Supervise, train, and support packaging staff to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Manages the financial cost within this cost centre, providing monthly forecast updates and optimising costs, efficiencies, yields, and wastage. - Optimize packaging material and liquid material usage to reduce waste and control costs without compromising quality or safety. - Evaluate and recommend new packaging equipment, technologies, or materials for process enhancement and sustainability goals.
