Why this role Matters: The Salvation Army (Salvos) provides a wide range of services that support women and women with children impacted by family and domestic violence. We offer accommodation, counselling, support, behavioural programs, and advice to women and children at risk of, experiencing or escaping family violence. Our services focus on prevention, restoration and healing to provide specialised support to address immediate safety issues and provide advice, referrals, and connection to assist the recovery journey. About the Role: The Specialist Family Violence Orange Door Practitioner – Men’s Response (and Women’s Response) works as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective responses to men who use violence, Victorian women, children and families seeking support and safety through the Orange Door. You will maintain perpetrator accountability and support view, under the supervision of the Integrated Orange Door Team Leader, with guidance from Orange Door Practice Leaders. This is a full time, 12 month , fixed term vacancy located in Frankston, Melbourne . Remuneration in line with SCHADS Level 6.
