Your role at St John of God Richmond We are seeking applications for a Deputy Allied Health Manager to join our Rehabilitation Unit at Richmond, on a permanent full-time basis. This position is a deputy to the Allied Health Manager which will entail some managerial and supervision of Psychologists, whilst also maintaining a clinical load. Our team comprises of Social Workers, Counsellors, Exercise Physiologists, Registered Nurses, and Dietitians. The Position Provide support, advice, teaching and supervision for grade 1, 2 and 3 Allied Health. Provide clinical training, supervision and evaluation of students undertaking placement. Must be a Board Approved Supervisor (BAS) to provide placement supervision for psychology students. Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring client/patient progress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management. Liaise with multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring Doctor. Provision of mentoring and supervision, direct line management and participation in review and evaluation for allied health staff. Provides clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advances practice skills. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Allied Health professional with a Tertiary qualification in Psychology, with registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). The successful candidate will bring significant experience in a senior clinical position within Allied Health, along with in-depth knowledge and expertise in delivering a wide range of contemporary psychotherapeutic interventions. This includes experience running groups and providing individual therapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, Schema-Focused Therapy, and ACT. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills in complex clinical environments, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive excellence in professional practice.
