A talented and client-focussed Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical and Automation team in Melbourne, which is part of our high performing Plant and Process group. Through integrated design, GHD has become a respected leader; we aim to create designs that are both functional and practical, that challenge design parameters, and, most importantly, meet the needs of our clients and communities. Our integrated teams provide a breadth of services across the entire life cycle of projects. You will enjoy great variety in high-impact multi-disciplinary water, energy and manufacturing projects across Victoria and Australia, being involved in : Contributing to integrated multi-disciplinary projects through all phases, from proposal development, concept and detailed design delivery, through to construction support. Project management or discipline lead for small to medium-sized projects. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, industry networks and internal stakeholders to grow revenue and deliver value to our clients. Promoting an inclusive, supportive and collaborative working environment within the team. What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 5 years’ relevant experience in electrical engineering on multidisciplinary industrial or water projects, ideally with Professional Engineering Registration in Victoria. Demonstrated consulting mindset, including proactive stakeholder engagement, strategic problem-solving, project management skills and the ability to deliver tailored solutions for our clients. Practical knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, such as AS/NZS 3000, switchboards and hazardous areas standards. Understanding of LV electrical protection, motor control, PLCs, instrumentation, SCADA system and industrial networks. For the right candidate, we will consider a part-time appointment (minimum of 0.8 FTE).
