Join a Big Four provider of mortgages and take on a unique opportunity to support an existing book of loyal customers. This is a temp ongoing role with hybrid working flexibility. You will be focused on servicing existing client with home loan variations and refinancing requests - Your role is to assess customer needs, package loan submissions, and guide clients through the process to approval. You will have knowledge and experience performing mortgage variations and your knowledge of having written home loans previously know how to assess and perform the variation of the existing loan and know what questions to ask to know how to loan package a loan submission to get approval. We are seeking someone with PAYG experience and self-employed assessment. There is no lead generation and its processing existing customer variation requests. This role has the flexibility of being hybrid working in their Rhodes based office and from home. This role requires you to a have Cert IV in mortgage broking as you be walking clients through home loan variations and providing guidance in terms of options. You will assess the customer’s situation, through understanding their financial needs and current financial position and determining the most appropriate solution within lending guidelines. In this role you will: Initial telephone discussions with customer on variation offerings Undertake customer requirement and objectives conversations, suitability conversations and completing customer needs review documentation Review completed application and ensure all required documentation supplied Order valuations, and complete employment checks Follow up calls with customer to educate, advise outcome and next steps Manage all allocated files within the agreed service levels Respond to email and phone enquiries from customers and franchises. About you: Solid understanding of responsible lending, mortgages and lending principles. Must hold a Cert IV in Mortgage Broking Strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong customer relationships. Strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and perform task both accurately and quickly. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, franchisees and brokers on all levels.
