About us We are an established vascular surgery practice located in St Leonards and Frenchs Forest. The role is based at Frenchs Forest. Led by a talented and passionate team with our own specialised vascular ultrasound laboratory, based at both locations. We are committed to providing high-quality vascular services to the local community. The principal duties and accountabilities of this position include the following: • Assessing, monitoring and managing wounds • Cleaning and bandaging wounds • Obtain cultures to assess wounds and injuries. • Writing orders, scripts and investigations to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown • Ensure optimum patient care delivery in wound care nursing procedures • Working collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to determine if additional treatments or changes in care are required • Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer care • Promotion and marketing of the practice’s wound care services to relevant audiences • Sanitize and maintain the premises of wound care neat, clean and hygienic. • Any other duties the employer may assign to you from time to time, having regard to your skills, training and experience.
