About You With a passion for seeing others gain independence in their life, you will need to have extensive knowledge & proven experience in a similar role of accessing a range of relevant community resources, particularly in the areas of health, drug & alcohol, legal, income support, employment, and recreation. In addition, you will possess: Effective listening skills and adaptable communication style Demonstrated flexibility, patience, initiative, and emotional resilience. The capability to advocate for others and build support networks. An understanding of the Trauma Informed Care and the NDIS frameworks Qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Work, or other relevant qualification This position requires to acquisition and maintenance of a positive Working with Children’s Check, a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, NDIS and Disability Workers clearance and possessing a current & valid driver’s license. We provide Complex Mental Health and Disability Services for individuals living with severe mental illness or physical disability. Our primary focus is on working with forensic clients who have legal, AOD, and IVO issues, including those who experience intellectual, dual diagnoses, episodic mental illness, and psychosocial disability. The director of Greater Good Care Services Pty Ltd has over 5 years of experience in Complex and Intensive Mental Health Disorders, Dual Disability, and Dual Diagnoses. They have also completed formal qualifications to supplement their wealth of knowledge in complex mental health and disability service provision. Greater Good Care Services Pty Ltd was established with the aim of providing tailored care services to people with disabilities, focusing on quality and compassion.
