You’ll lead your team, inspire best practice, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community. You’ll manage operations with a focus on quality and compliance, while empowering educators to deliver exceptional care and education. Key Responsibilities Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times Managing the performance and success of your centre Management of daily operations, budgets, wages, rostering, occupancy Lead, coach, develop and support the professional development of your team Developing strong relationships with families and the community Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations Advocating for the rights of every child within your centre Implementation and evaluation of quality programs that support the development of all children About you You’re an experienced leader in Early Childhood Education with a proven ability to inspire teams, engage families, and champion children’s learning and wellbeing. You bring strong business acumen, a deep commitment to quality, and a passion for creating positive outcomes for children. Key skills and requirements Previous experience in a leadership role Commitment to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment for all children and their families Ability to adhere to the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services or bachelor’s degree (Early Education) Current Valid Working with Children Check Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate Why Journey?
