The Opportunity Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of high-quality water and wastewater systems. Whether working in our state-of-the-art workshop or on-site at client facilities, your hands-on skills will help deliver solutions that truly make a difference. Your Responsibilities Assemble and fabricate water and wastewater treatment systems with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete projects to high standards Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards Work independently and as part of a collaborative team Maintain a safe and organised work environment Communicate professionally with colleagues, management, and clients Travel to remote sites for plant installations when required Your Skills & Qualifications Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or plumbing (or equivalent) Hands-on experience in uPVC piping, mechanical assembly, or fabrication Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including workshop machinery Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings A commitment to safety and following strict guidelines A positive attitude and excellent teamwork and communication skills Physical fitness for tasks such as lifting and extended periods of standing Current C-class manual driver’s licence Discover the ABCO Water Difference Looking for more than just a job?
