12-month Fixed Term Leadership Role Geelong Grammar School is one of the world’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools offering exceptional education to all of its students, from Early Learning to Year 12. Timbertop is Geelong Grammar School’s Year 9 full boarding campus, located in Victoria’s high country near Mansfield which offers a full academic and outdoor education programme designed to take advantage of the magnificent environment. All teaching staff live on campus with approximately 246 students in a supportive residential community. We are currently seeking a Co-Head of Boarding and Student Wellbeing to commence in Term 1, 2026 for a 12 month leave replacement role. The Co-Head of Boarding and Student Wellbeing is a senior leadership role within the Timbertop campus responsible for coordinating and advising on the provision of high-quality student wellbeing services to students at Timbertop, including liaison GGS staff, Health Centre (SAN) and external student wellbeing service providers. Applicants must be highly experienced Techers who possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to liaise and work with people at all levels within the campus (adolescent students and all staff), including external services providers. The role demands high level decision making and organisational skills with an ability to manage the logistics of a diverse range of activities, projects and people concurrently. An understanding of contemporary student welfare and wellbeing practices in combination with a knowledge of and experience in the application of Positive Psychology principles for students (Positive Education). Applicants must reside on campus and be able to participate fully in the School’s outdoor education journeys, running, pastoral and wellbeing programmes.
