The Opportunity Our Corporate Finance division in Adelaide is seeking an “Analyst – M&A Advisory” to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a motivated individual with a background in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency (approximately 1-2 years). Our team brings extensive experience across a wide range of industries, working with businesses of all sizes. As a key team member, you will assist with financial modelling, live business transactions, financial due diligence, and strategic business advice . In this role, you will work closely with partners/principals, supporting the growth of the Corporate Finance division while delivering outstanding results for our clients. Your responsibilities: As part of the Corporate Finance team, you will: Analyse and interpret large datasets Developing robust financial models, budgets, and forecasts for clients Assisting the partners/principals with business sales and acquisitions including financial due diligence and preparation of Information Memorandums Preparing business valuations Supporting strategic business investigations and analysis Preparation of covenant reporting to commercial banks Providing insightful, strategic advice that shapes the future of our clients’ businesses About You Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline. Approximately 1-2 years in an accounting-related role (experience in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency is ideal). Currently studying for CA qualifications. Strong Excel skills, with experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R being highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret Financial Statements. High levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. Strong collaborative skills with colleagues and clients, along with a dedicated work ethic. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with report-writing experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to develop solutions.
