Mechanic - SOT – Fleet Maintenance Botany work location, 38hr week, 9 day fortnight Permanent Full-Time role, upto $ $1515 per week plus 12% super Great working hours and outstanding leave conditions About the role: Based at Council’s Botany Depot, this role performs fault diagnoses and plant, vehicle and equipment servicing and repairs to ensure that Council’s plant fleet is safe, fit for purpose and operating at optimum efficiency. This role works within our team of Mechanics who are fortunate enough to work across the broad range of vehicles and equipment Bayside Council owns and operates. No two days are the same as you will service everything from whipper snippers to passenger vehicles to large mechanical sweeper trucks. Please note that whilst the role is primarily based at the Botany Depot workshop, it may require travel to the Bexley Depot workshop, on occasion, to ensure operational needs are met. About you: Qualified and Licenced Mechanic – preferably heavy vehicle. Ability to fault find and repair hydraulic, diesel and electrical components. SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card). Proven team player with a “can do” attitude. MR / HR Drivers’ Licence preferred or willingness to obtain.
