Our fully equipped workshop offers welding, blasting, painting and testing facilities, while our field teams execute installations, piping packages and tank maintenance across diverse sites. Position Overview Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Supervisor / Project Lead will plan, coordinate and deliver both current and future scopes of work. You will lead multi-discipline teams on site and in the workshop, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed work plans, material lists and resource schedules for fabrication and site scopes Supervise and mentor fabricators, welders and site personnel to maintain high productivity and quality standards Conduct daily pre-start safety briefings, enforce HSSEQ and QA/QC procedures, and monitor compliance with ITP/SWMS Drive our HSSEQ-first approach to ensure every job meets our rigorous safety standards Manage job documentation, including job cards, method statements and timesheets for client reporting and payroll Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues promptly Prepare internal estimates and written scope assessments to support client quotations Qualifications & Experience Trade qualification with formal training in tank fabrication or dangerous goods handling (e.g. S26/S44) Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in site supervision or project leadership, preferably within fuel or storage tank environments Valid CSE, WAH and White Card, or ability to obtain prior to commencement Proven ability to interpret construction drawings and apply relevant Australian standards Strong understanding of quality control processes, attention to detail and commitment to safety culture Personal Attributes Proactive and outcomes-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, able to motivate teams in dynamic environments Flexible approach to accommodate changing project requirements and operational demands Physically fit and able to comply with pre-employment medical and fit-for-work policies How to Apply Please submit your CV and a brief covering letter outlining your suitability for this role to the Operations Manager at Total Tank Services.
