ABOUT THE ROLE As Supervisor Maintenance (Surface), you will lead the safe execution of planned and reactive maintenance across critical site infrastructure at Appin Mine . You will provide technical support to the trades team, ensure compliance with systems and processes, and drive asset reliability and performance. Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Aligning maintenance plans with production requirements Managing contractors in line with company standards React to equipment downtime/delays in a timely manner Supporting fault finding and troubleshooting activities Liaise with maintenance coordinators and planners to monitoring and improve maintenance schedules Driving safe work behaviours and risk management Lead and manage a multi-discipline, trade-based team to ensure training and performance compliance ABOUT YOU You will be an experienced maintenance leader with strong technical knowledge and proven supervisory capability. You will be confident working across teams, managing contractors, and promoting safe and reliable operations. You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Supervising teams in heavy industrial environments Contractor management and performance oversight Maintenance planning and execution systems (e.g. SAP) Coaching, mentoring & influencing across all levels Qualifications, skills, and competencies: Recognised trade certificate, engineering diploma or degree in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline Electrical Qualified Supervisor's Licence (if applicable) Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in industry Strong communication, leadership & decision-making skills Previous experience utilising computerized maintenance management systems e.g. SAP (desired) Candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
