Invasive Plants and Animals (IPA) significantly affect the environment, agricultural production, infrastructure, human health and our way of life in general. The IPA program directs, facilitates and delivers strategic and targeted action to reduce the impact of invasive species in Queensland. As our Science Technician (Weed Biological Control), you will contribute to important research tackling invasive weeds by conducting laboratory, quarantine, and field-based tasks. You will apply scientific methods, maintain compliance with SOPs and safety standards, and support data generation that drives innovative biological control.
