Key Responsibilities:Pest Management Support::- Assist with planning, delivering, and reporting on pest management projects across the region.- Play a key role in the delivery and monitoring of pest management activities to ensure outcomes align with regional priorities.- Provide mapping and data management support and apply or learn best-practice pest management techniques.Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:- Share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders, assisting them to identify solutions and overcome challenges.- Foster and contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture.Travel and Field Work:- Participate in multi-day field trips and travel to various locations across the Northern Region as required to support pest management activities.What We're Looking For:To succeed in this role, you will:- Be an effective communicator, capable of working collaboratively within teams and with external stakeholders.- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify solutions quickly and practically.- Work efficiently, both in teams and autonomously, to deliver on project goals.- Bring desirable skills such as experience in mapping, data management and knowledge of pest management best practices.- This role offers the opportunity to contribute to protecting Queensland's natural landscape while collaborating with a variety of teams and stakeholders to implement effective pest management solutions.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
