Security Engineer - Electronic Access Control/CCTV Role: Security Engineer – Electronic Access/CCTV Location: Sydney, NSW Job Description: The Security Engineer Electronic Access Control System role is responsible for designing the EACS and CCTV systems for a large infrastructure project in Sydney from the initial stage through to final certification in accordance with all relevant contract documents and referenced standards. Responsibilities Design and implement security systems tailored to the specific needs of major projects. Conduct site assessments to determine the optimal placement of cameras and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems with existing infrastructure. Ownership of the design/engineering for electronic security requirements in terms of scope, schedule, and budget. Provide technical direction in the field of Electronic Security to all relevant stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, electronic, controls, mechatronic, computer science). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electronic Access Control Systems and/or CCTV including extensive design knowledge. Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based / security projects. Previous exposure to a site based, construction environment. You must obtain/maintain an appropriate security clearance for your customer sites and applicable projects.
