The Opportunity: We are seeking internal interest from those who are eager to diversify and expand their experience in the role of Manager Support Coordination. This role will see a highly motivated and organised individual demonstrate strong people leadership as they lead a high-performance culture whilst being the point of escalation and decision making around complex participant scenarios. You will be responsible for overseeing the Support Coordination team that operate across the Southern Regions of our organisational footprint. In addition, you will be responsible for a broad range of operational outcomes, including but not limited to: Leading, coaching, and guiding Senior Support Coordinators and Support Coordinators. Liaising with families, carers, external providers and clinicians regarding the provision of supports. Managing performance and leading performance and disciplinary processes. Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks in the areas of incident management, record keeping and reporting. Supporting your team to reach their billable targets whilst monitoring performance on a weekly basis in fast paced, changing environment. Reviewing and investigating incidents reported via Riskman. Ensuring superior quality, safe and inclusive opportunities for all participants. Thi s role is permanent full time, based in Goulburn or the ACT. About you: To succeed in this role, you will possess: Advanced knowledge of the NDIS and funding structure, including a thorough understanding of the changing nature of the systemic environment that Support Coordination works within. A minimum of 5 years experience within a Support Coordinator role or 7 years of industry experience. Qualification within Allied Health, Social or Community Service based backgrounds desirable however not essential. Demonstrated leadership experience. A solutions focused approach, being adept in identifying and collaborating with team members to implement participant focused outcomes. Business partnership skills including building rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills, being imperative as your team operates from varying locations. The ability to travel and conduct business in all areas of our organisational footprint on a regular basis, both planned and as required. The ability to work flexible hours in order to support your team to manage crisis situations as they arise.
