Male Disability Support Worker – Casual / Permanent Part Time Location: Armadale, WA About Sunlight Disability Care Sunlight Disability Care is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants across the Perth metro area, surrounding suburbs, and regional WA. We’re committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their goals, increase their independence, and fully participate in the community. The Role We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Male Disability Support Worker to join our growing team in Armadale. In this role, you’ll work directly with participants to provide support tailored to their individual needs and aspirations. Key Responsibilities Support participants with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care Facilitate community access and accompany participants to appointments Assist with budgeting and money management Communicate regularly with the care team and maintain accurate, timely progress notes and incident reports Promote positive behaviors, learning, and skill development Shifts available: day (9:30am – 4:00pm) or afternoon (includes 8 hours of paid sleepover) What We’re Looking For Proven ability to deliver person-centered care that values client choice and goals Experience supporting people with ADHD, Autism, Epilepsy, and intellectual disabilities Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to maintain clear records and communicate effectively Relevant Certificate III or higher in Disability or related field (mandatory) Previous experience in the disability or health sector NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory) WA Working with Children Check (mandatory) Full Australian working rights (mandatory) Australian driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance How to Apply If you’re passionate about making a difference and meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you.
