About the Business This restaurant is dedicated to using locally sourced produce to create an affordable, high-quality menu that celebrates seasonality. In addition to their restaurant service, they cater for an 80-room motel, offering daily breakfast buffets and dinner service. They also host corporate functions, weddings, and group bookings. About the Role As an Apprentice Chef, you will be part of a tight-knit team, learning from the ground up about all aspects of becoming a chef. Your responsibilities will include: Afternoon preparation for night service (starting at 1:30 pm). Working through à la carte service in a dynamic kitchen. Packing down and finishing up around 9:30 pm. A 5-day work roster with 2 days off each week. TAFE training included paid by the business! Apprentices attend TAFE one day per week for 2.5 years as part of their roster. Bonus Selection Criteria A driver’s licence or pre-apprenticeship qualification is beneficial but not essential.
