The role operates across the Darling Downs region, with farms located from Goondiwindi to Dalby. The Role This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing 9 piggery sites across the Darling Downs region. Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Farming, you will lead farm managers, ensure compliance with WHS and animal welfare standards, manage site performance, budgets, infrastructure projects, and drive operational consistency. Key responsibilities include: Lead Farm Managers and support the development of a committed multi-cultural workforce. Drive operations ensuring productivity, efficiency, and delivery of strategic objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, and collaborate with national leadership to align strategy Oversee CAPEX, financial reports, site audits, and inventory management. Ensure adherence to WHS legislation, animal welfare, biosecurity, and environmental obligations. About You You are a proven leader with experience in managing multi-site agribusiness or intensive livestock operations. Commercially minded, operationally hands-on, and culturally aware, to be considered for this role, it’s important you can address the following criteria: Proven senior leadership across multiple farming or production sites Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting skills Deep knowledge of intensive animal production, herd health, and biosecurity Relevant qualifications in Agriculture, Business, or similar Ability to travel extensively across farm sites The Benefits: This is a rare opportunity to lead a major agricultural operation within a respected and expanding agribusiness that values innovation, people, and science-led farming.
