About Us The Parklife Metro consortium , in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney’s most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line. Our consortium—featuring Plenary, Webuild , RATP Dev, Siemens, and Siemens Mobility—is responsible for the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager (Chief Warehouse Accountant) that will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating all aspects of warehouse accounting and financial office flows within the context of the SSTOM project. This includes overseeing the codification of Purchase Requests (PRs), Store Entries, Store Issues, and various reports related to warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee and control the codification process of Purchase Requests (PRs). Coordinate and manage the process of Delivery Orders. Supervise the receipt and issuance of material goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage and maintain store inventory, communicating pertinent information to project personnel. Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records to align warehouse accounting statements for project accounting closing balance. Verify and check invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Handle Accounts Payable processes. Perform daily transaction posting and bookkeeping using SAP. Reconcile General Ledger accounts. Create and maintain a fixed asset register within SAP. Prepare, analyse, and assess warehouse management reports. Prepare, analyse, and assess management and financial accounting reports related to monthly closing of warehouse accounting statements. Generate and evaluate operational-accounting/financial reports, including Stock Aging, Stock Report, and PR request processing status. Ensure compliance with filing and internal audit requirements. About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. White Card certification. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP. Experience Required Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with preference for large-scale projects. At least 5 years’ experience in a comparable role within mining or major civil infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity. Prior experience within contractor construction industry, particularly in infrastructure projects. Why Join Us?
