Job Opportunity: Electrician - Leading Hand Location: Singleton (initial 4 months commitment), then rotating through client sites Nowra, Wollongong, Wyong, and possibly Goulburn Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site Industry: Commercial, Industrial Electrical Services across NSW About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrician - Leading Hand to join a growing electrical contractor working across diverse commercial and industrial projects throughout NSW. You'll be responsible for leading site teams, overseeing installations, and ensuring high-quality workmanship, while also mentoring apprentices and junior staff. This role offers variety, DIDO travel, and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects including schools, hospitals, and public infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate site activities, including hands-on electrical installation and some physical/heavy lifting. Collaborate with site teams and clients to deliver exceptional outcomes. Travel between client locations (Singleton initially, with potential sites in Nowra, Wollongong, Wyong, and Goulburn). Accommodation and meals provided when travel is required (Mon-Fri). Ensure compliance and safety standards are met at all times. Mentor and support junior team members. Minimal on-call duties (2 hours' on-call pay when applicable). Occasional Saturday work (half-day, approx. once per month, paid at $90). What You Bring Trade-qualified Electrician with a minimum of 4-5 years' commercial construction experience post-apprenticeship . Fit and healthy, able to manage physically demanding tasks. Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Strong leadership and communication skills. Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented. What's on Offer $50-$55 per hour (up to ~$105,600 base p.a. at $55/hour) super. Company vehicle (Hilux Workmate Single Cab Ute) with tools provided, or option to bring your own. All vehicle expenses covered (servicing, fuel, tolls). Accommodation and meals covered for regional travel Mon - Friday. If on call an additional $90.00 will be paid on top of weekly salary if required to attend a call out an additional 2hrs @ 1.5 x normal rate will be paid on top of weekly salary.
