Join a high-performing finance team where your expertise in fund accounting and taxation will help streamline and enhance financial processes across multiple entities. In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to support fund distributions, tax lodgements, audits, and corporate month-end reporting. ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end monthly and annual fund distribution process, including coordination with internal teams and external service providers.Support the quarterly Business Activity Statement (BAS) review for all funds.Manage the preparation and lodgement process for fund income tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax obligations and deadlines.Support the day-to-day operational aspects of the fund audit process.Assist with fund accounting activities and support new fund establishment processes as required.Apply expertise in fund/trust taxation and international tax regulations to support compliance and reporting.Contribute to corporate month-end close processes and financial reporting across multiple entities. Required Experience4–5 years of experience in accounting and/or tax within funds management or fund administration.Exposure to managed investment schemes, unit trusts, or ETF structures highly desirable.Experience with fund distribution processes, including investor tax reporting and tax reclaims highly desirable.Prior involvement in the fund audit process and month-end reporting is beneficial. SkillsUnderstanding of Australian fund taxation, including AMIT/MIT regimes and income attribution concepts.Working knowledge of income tax return preparation for trusts and managed funds.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other common business tools and applications.Experience with accounting systems, Xero preferred. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion).Additional postgraduate qualifications in Taxation (desirable but not required).
