About the role We are seeking an experienced Drill Crew Leader to join our team at Jones Group (NSW). We are a NSW based company our projects are varied all over NSW and interstate. As most of our projects are at varied locations, our roster will change depending on the project. We are currently working on a 15 and 6 day roster. As the Directional Drill Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the drill crew's activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. What you'll be doing Operation of Vermeer 100/120 Horizontal Directional Drill Coordinate the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment Monitor and maintain drilling records and documentation Provide training and mentorship to less experienced crew members Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during drilling operations What we're looking for Experience with Vermeer Directional Drills HC Drivers Licence Thorough understanding of drilling equipment, methodologies, and safety protocols Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Interpreting BYDA plans and locating underground assets Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment What we offer At Jones Group (NSW), we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
