We're now hiring talented Chefs and Cooks to join our passionate kitchen team. Your Role We are seeking experienced and motivated Chefs and Cooks to contribute to our kitchen operations across various locations. These roles are hands-on and integral to ensuring the smooth delivery of quality meals in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage ordering of food supplies Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation Discuss food preparation and kitchen operations with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen/wait staff Demonstrate techniques and advise team members on cooking procedures Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards are strictly followed Examine food items to ensure freshness and quality Regulate cooking equipment temperatures (ovens, grills, etc.) for optimal results Season food during cooking and finish dishes with appropriate garnishes and accompaniments Portion and plate meals to specification Store food in temperature-controlled environments per safety guidelines Prepare food for special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, vegan, gluten-free) May be responsible for freezing and preserving food items May train and supervise junior kitchen staff and apprentices What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar culinary role Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays Culinary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) desirable What We Offer Competitive hourly rates and employment benefits Supportive team environment with opportunities for training and advancement The chance to be part of a company that values creativity, quality, and teamwork Ongoing employment opportunities across our diverse portfolio of businesses Join Urbanecho Holdings Pty Ltd and bring your passion for food to a team that values excellence and innovation in every dish.
