We are currently seeking an experienced Planner – Operations & Maintenance , to support the “Water South” division, focusing on Dams and Pump Station Operations and Maintenance. This position is responsible to translate the annual work program into concise structured monthly packages, reducing the impact on process, assets, and maintenance costs. Anticipate and eliminate potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts, materials, and equipment. Enable efficient delivery of maintenance plans from the tactics and strategies identified. The fundamentals of the role: You will lead presentations of work programs to identify asset impacts and maintenance constraints that will impact delivery. You will identify materials, services and tooling required to deliver maintenance plans to the required standard. Not only that but you will ensure required materials, services, and tooling are available and allocated to maintenance tasks throughout the work management process. Take responsibility for identifying additional maintenance plan costs or count that will impact overall business unit work program funding allocation. Ensure development of O&M database with accurate material, service, and tooling information of designated area. Ultimately, you will have the following skills and experience: Tertiary or trade qualification in a relevant discipline and considerable experience in field-based asset operations and maintenance in a large infrastructure-based service organisation OR Substantial experience in work planning for maintenance and operational activities and experience in field-based asset operations and maintenance in a large infrastructure-based service organisation Relevant experience in experience in a work planning and scheduling role.
