Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Sofitel Brisbane Central . As an experienced member of the kitchen team, you will play a significant role in supervising operational aspects of the kitchen and ensure food hygiene and safety procedures are followed. Manage and coordinate activities within your assigned kitchen section Ensure efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areas Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu specifications and quality standards Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefs Assist in menu development and implementation of new food concepts Participate in live cooking demonstrations and interact with customers when required Collaborate with the sous chef and head chef to maintain kitchen efficiency Monitor and control food waste, stock levels, and kitchen resources Adapt quickly to changing priorities during busy service periods.
