(pro-rata) Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Full-Time, Temporary 6 Month Role About the role As an Operational Services Officer in Specimen Reception, you will play an important role in supporting the Pre-Analytical Services team. This position is key to ensuring the smooth flow of specimens from collection through to testing, helping to deliver accurate and timely results that support patient diagnosis and treatment. You will be part of a professional and supportive environment where attention to detail, care and efficiency make a real difference to patient outcomes. In this role, you will provide high quality customer service to patients and colleagues while managing specimens with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include receiving, sorting and preparing specimens, maintaining accurate records in laboratory information systems, and ensuring specimens are stored and transported under the right conditions. By handling both administrative and clinical tasks, you’ll contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the team while ensuring enquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner. You bring proven experience in pathology or healthcare environments and demonstrate the skills needed to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
