Merlo Coffee began 30 years ago with a simple philosophy – freshly roasted specialty coffee served by people who are passionate about coffee.
Today, Merlo is proud to be one of Australia’s leading independently owned and operated coffee roasters, who supply the public, our own Merlo Coffee stores and 1,700 cafes and restaurants with freshly roasted coffee around the country every day.
Monday to Friday - no evening or weekend work! Offering 20-25 hours per week on a casual basis.
Key responsibilites include:
- Food preparation/ serving: perform food preparation of cabinet items eg. wraps, panini's focacia's, sandwiches, fresh salads, frittata, muffins and catering platters
- Product knowledge: advise customers and staff on gluten free, dairy free and other diatary specifications in addition to in-store specials
- Kitchen organisation: manage the work flow and meet preparation targets, complete food safety checklists and other OH&S procedures, order stock and food items for the store.
- Customer service: ensuring Merlo's customer-focused service is upheld at all times.
