Hudson White Pty Ltd (City Discount Tyres Belmont) are currently seeking an experienced, full-time mechanic to join our team. Skills/Qualification Required: • Mechanical qualification (Cert III or have at least 3 years of relevant experience) • Tyre fitting and/or wheel alignment experience is favourable Duties Include: Maintaining, testing and repairs petrol engines and the mechanical parts of light vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes. Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and components. Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts. Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components. Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups. Reassembling engines and parts after repairs. Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for the proper performance. Diagnosing and testing parts. Replacing suspension components and installing suspension lift kits.
