The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Applications Developer to join our Business Information Systems team at the Department of Transport. This is a key role responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of applications that underpin our web and portal services. You’ll coordinate and assist with the design, configuration, and integration of browser-based applications—including social, collaborative, and interactive platforms—using technologies such as .NET, Angular, React, and Kentico CMS. In addition to ensuring continuity of application development and database support, you’ll provide expert advice to clients and departmental staff on various environments and computer applications. About you · Experienced in developing and supporting online service applications using .NET in complex environments. · Skilled in front-end frameworks such as React and Angular. · Proficient in using Kentico and other Content Management Systems. · Strong grasp of web technologies including JavaScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, and XML/JSON. · Effective at managing projects and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. · Analytical and solutions-focused, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
