This position is primarily responsible for the food and beverage supply ordering and costing, staff rostering, operational costs, service initiatives, revenue, HR and safety compliance, ensuring records of transactions are up to date and communicated with the Director of Food & Beverage. Most importantly, this role will train and manage the front of the house staff ensuring they know everything from menus to service standards. Directly supervise the front of house venue, ensure safety compliance with WHS standards, and the output of high-quality culinary and beverages is held up to Ace standards. You will work closely with the Executive Chef, by providing valuable feedback to the culinary team from customers and collaborating on alternative means and menu items that would benefit the business's cost productivity based on the needs of the patrons. About you - You are a natural relationship builder, you get things done which will mean jumping in to take orders when needed and assisting with enquiries from guests. You are genuinely interested in continuously evolving the Ace brand to connect with more customers. You have at least 3 years of industry experience and food & beverage management experience. Previous experience with successfully developing staff, controlling F&B operational costs and rostering. Experience in hospitality outlets, high volume, catering and bar/lounge concepts is preferred, as well as experience with hotel POS systems required. Previous experience in BOH kitchen operations would be handy.
