About the opportunity This business development opportunity focuses on generating new business in WA and across Australia by promoting instrumentation, condition monitoring, and data acquisition systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and developing a client pipeline, supported by in-house engineering and marketing teams. In this role, you will: Service and build a portfolio of clients across Victoria and South Australia Develop new leads and manage both short and long sales cycles Deliver technical presentations and proposals to support sales cycles To achieve these outcomes, you’ll attend industry expos, collaborate with engineers for solution demonstrations, and target key sectors. Over a 3–5 year journey, the role is positioned to develop into a national specialist position with ownership of key verticals and a substantial portfolio. About you You are commercially focused with a technical mindset and have a track record in B2B sales involving engineering products or services. You enjoy both business development and hands-on engagement with technology. Your ability to manage complex accounts and engage in technical conversations is key to success in this role. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering 4–6 years in technical sales across industrial sectors Ability to manage sales pipelines, CRM activity (SAP preferred), and reporting Familiarity with selling instrumentation, measurement, or control systems A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel interstate Familiarity with selling instrumentation, measurement, or control systems What’s on offer This role offers a long-term technical sales career with national scope and access to globally recognised instrumentation technologies.
